Mr. Akomer is a graduate of Bahçeşehir University Law School and is a registered member of the Istanbul Bar Association. 

He is fluent in English and conversational in German.  

Mr. Akomer has also attended Georgetown University Law Center and Oxford Law Faculty programs and has completed with success. His previous experience in the maritime and commercial/general aviation sectors enables him to offer a more comprehensive perspective on these matters, as well as a deeper understanding of their dynamics. He specialises in shipping law, insurance, commercial law, litigation and the law of contracts.
